Then, I tied three long strips of different fabric & braided them together. I used the hot glue gun ( aka my best friend) to begin wrapping braids around the base of the bottle. I interchanged large pieces with thinner pieces.
I continued up the bottle, gluing as I go.
Although this project was not 100% successful, I think these bottles are interesting & I love all the textures. I have yet to find a wine bottle project (other than tissue paper bottles) that is both fun & beautiful. Any ideas?
