We will Eat You Up, We Love You So!

Yay for a new lesson inspired by one of my favorite childhood books: Where the Wild things Are by Maurice Sendak!
After reading the classic book, we discussed all the different animals and textures that were used to create all the "wild things". Students were shown a demo on how to convey "visual texture" of the animals skin & how use the bas relief technique with paper to create 3d tails, fur, feathers, etc. Lots of fun!
